Today is a big day at Star Mountain Kennel.  I am currently on a 737-800 with a puppy comfortably sleeping at my feet.   Star Mountain North Star at Brookmont, aka “STAR” is headed to her new home.  She is a very lucky girl and i’m sure she is going to be very spoiled.  If you are interested in the dog show world and keep track of who is who you will probably see STAR mentioned again.  We know she has lots of ribbons in her future.

She rode on my lap for a little while before I was told doggies are not allowed out of their carriers.  She didn’t seem nervous or upset at all.  Right now, she is laying in her bag chewing on her toy.     Podengo Pequenos are great traveling companions.

Not many puppies get such a special delivery to their new home.  I miss and think about all my puppies but I have to say delivering them like this makes the transition much easier on me.  I know I will be handing her off to her new mom who loves her bunches already.
